We’re thrilled to announce that the much-loved Inkberrow Relay Race returns on Sunday 17th May 2026.

The much-loved Inkberrow Relay Race will return on Sunday 17th May 2026, bringing runners, families and supporters back together for one of Worcestershire’s most community-focused events.

Set in the heart of the village and surrounding countryside, the race follows its traditional relay format, with teams made up of individual runners each completing one leg of the course before handing over to the next teammate. The varied route combines road and rural sections, making it both scenic and competitive, equally appealing to experienced club runners and enthusiastic local teams.

The event is open to running clubs, workplace teams, groups of friends and community organisations, creating a fantastic mix of serious competition and village spirit. Over the years, the relay has built a reputation for being as welcoming as it is well-organised, with spectators lining parts of the course and a strong atmosphere at the start and finish area.

Prizes will once again be awarded across multiple categories, including overall team winners and category prizes, with further details to be confirmed closer to race day.

Importantly, all profits from the 2026 race will go directly to local charities and community causes, continuing a proud tradition of reinvesting back into the area.

The event is supported by Hills Ford, who have been involved since the very first race.

Richard Hill of Hills Ford said:

“The Inkberrow Relay is a brilliant example of what local community events should be about, bringing people together while raising meaningful funds for local charities.

We’ve supported it since the first race and are proud to continue that support in 2026. It’s a fantastic day for the village and the wider Worcestershire community.”

Entries are now officially open, and teams are encouraged to secure their place early for what promises to be another fantastic day of competition and community spirit.
