Vehicle Prep Technician - Kidderminster

We’re looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Prep Technician to join our team at Hills Ford in Kidderminster.

This is a key role within the business, helping ensure every vehicle leaving us is prepared to the highest standard. You’ll be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on both new and used vehicles, making sure everything is completed in line with manufacturer guidelines and ready for handover.

You’ll need to be comfortable working in a busy environment, managing your time effectively and taking pride in getting things right first time. Attention to detail, quality of work and a team-focused approach are all important to us.

While experience in a franchised dealership is beneficial, we’re equally open to speaking with technicians from independent garages or repair centres — what matters most is your ability, attitude and approach to the job.

What we’re looking for:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician
Confident in servicing and repairing cars and light commercial vehicles
Class 4 MOT licence
Full UK driving licence
A reliable, team-focused approach with strong attention to detail

The role is based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota basis (1 in 4).
