Autumn tends to be the busiest time of year for MOT tests and we’re expecting demand to double. If you want to keep your annual MOT date the same, it’s worth knowing you can book an MOT test with us up to a month minus a day before yours is due to expire, and you can still keep your renewal date.
So if your test is due in November, consider booking with us in October instead –we’ll make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and you won’t have to worry about getting your MOT done for another year. Of course, if you absolutely cannot move your MOT forward we’ll do our very best to fit you in.
The Coronavirus has had a massive impact on how we all go about our daily lives and forced us all to change how we undertake tasks that were previously second nature. As a family business we wanted to ensure we prioritise the safety of all of our staff who return to work in this new environment as well as all of our customers. This has meant huge investment in sanitisation and personal protective equipment and huge changes to processes to ensure we observe the new social distancing and safety protocol requirements which ultimately also takes much longer to undertake.
As such we will apply, without exception, a Sanitisation/PPE charge of £5.00 incl to every job that enters our workshops. We have chosen not to hide this within servicing or repair prices but be transparent about what we are doing and why we are doing it. When hopefully the Coronavirus threat is finally beaten we will then be able to remove this charge which could otherwise have been maintained hidden within servicing or repair costs.
