The water pump in your engine is a vital component that helps ensure long, safe engine operations.
It pushes coolant from the radiator through the coolant system, into the engine and back around to the radiator.
As it’s a timing component, it features precision parts that work together, much like the working of a clock. Like any part of a car, the timing belt and water pump are subject to wear and tear. If they’re not working properly, your engine can overheat, making your vehicle liable to breakdown.
We take care to check the parts and if we find anything wrong we can repair or replace parts. It is recommended that when your timing belt is replaced, you also replace the water pump at the same time. This reduces your risk of engine damage and repeat repairs, and ensures continued safe motoring.
